Dengue haemorrhagic fever complicated with spontaneous psoas haematoma requiring blood products

Dengue is a mosquito borne febrile viral disease .Sri Lanka an endemic area where the incidence was peak in 2017 and slightly decreased 2020 (28.7%) because of preventive measures. Presentation can be asymptomatic or cause spectrum symptoms including undifferentiated fever, dengue haemorrhagic fever with without shock expanded syndrome. We describe here case 48-years old man who presented to emergency unit three-day history acute prodromal features, subsequently diagnosed have it complicated psoas haemorrhage. Only limited cases were reported about spontaneous muscle haemorrhage adult population.
